Does this replace my current Stadium Stomp registration?
No! We'd never do that to you. If you are currently registered for one of our postponed Stadium Stomp LIVE events, your ticket will be valid for your replacement event.
Stadium Stomp Virtual is not a replacement event but a value add if you like :)
Individuals or teams?
You can do this solo or as a member of a team however the target of 25,000 stairs remains an individual target. Creating a team will allow you to fundraise as a group for one select charity.
Can I sign up multiple people?
As you're registering you can send people an invitation to complete their registration and pay their own way. You can also create a team once you're all signed up and in your dashboard and invite people to join your team
Do I have to do it all at once?
To replicate a real Stadium Stomp event as closely as possible, completing one stadium in a single session is the closest you’ll get. But you can take as long as you need to climb 25,000 stairs in the month of July. All you need to remember is to log each workout on your dashboard. The system will let you know when you’ve reached the stair count for each Stadium and a badge will light up!
But you can take as long as you need to climb 25,000 stairs over the month (5 July - 5 August)
How long will it take to do one stadium?
As they do in real life, each stadium has a different stair count which will affect the length of time it takes to complete. If you plan on doing a single stadium in one session you are looking at 60+ minutes (depending on your fitness level) but your time will be affected by your set of stairs and the number within the set, so it’s a very difficult thing to quantify. You’ve got a month to complete 25,000 stairs, space it out however you need to.
Is there a prize for the fastest climb?
Stadium Stomp has never been about posting a winning time. We see all our events including this one as a challenge not a race.
Can I start recording my stairs climbed before 5 July?
You can but we’ll be resetting the clock to zero on 5 July.
Do we get a medal?
Medals are not included with the FREE version. If you'd like to receive medals you can elect to upgrade and we'll post these directly to your door. You'll receive one medal for each stadium you conquer - that's up to four medals.
What if I don’t complete all the stadiums?
That's A-OK. We're giving you a target, you'll do your best to get there. We can't ask for more than that.
If you paid for an upgrade you’ll be sent medals for only those stadiums that you’ve completed. So do what you can, knowing that you’ll be rightfully rewarded for the sweat you put in.
Does the registration fee go to charity?
No. The registration fee and fundraising are quite separate. Registration fees will go to Stadium Stomp. Funds raised will go to the charities.
Do I have to fundraise?
No. You’ll have the choice when you register to choose one of our charity partners or to not fundraise at all. Having said that this website is super set up to make fundraising really easy. Even if you raise a small amount it’s worth it!
When do I get my merchandise?
All purchased merchandise (including the merchandise and medal packs and merchandise purchased through the shop), will be posted at the end of July. From there it’s up to the delivery service to get it to you within their timeframes.
Can I change my non-fundraising registration over to a fundraising registration?
Yes. If you initially registered and elected not to fundraise, you can change your registration over to fundraise at any time. Please email us at email@example.com with this request and be sure to supply your full name and advise which one of our charity partners you would like to fundraise for.
I’ve shared my fundraising page on Facebook, why can’t I see the donations on my fundraising page?
If you have used the Facebook Donate button, your donation will be sent to your nominated charity via Facebook’s fundraising platform and cannot be linked to your Stadium Stomp Virtual fundraising page. We advise that you don’t use the Facebook Donate button so your donations can be linked to your fundraising page and the event.
If you’ve already set up a post with a Donate button, delete the post and create a new one, without adding the Donate button. This is the only way to remove the Facebook Donate button.
